The Autoro AB100 and AB200 are dual‑source automatic transfer switches designed for DC power distribution from two independent sources to a single load. The module continuously monitors both inputs and automatically connects the higher‑voltage source to the output. When both input voltages are equal, both sources discharge simultaneously, increasing available current and runtime.

Model Variants
The AB100 is rated at 50A continuous per channel with 100A peak capacity and weighs 40g. It is suitable for fridges, lights, pumps, and inverters up to 1500W.
The AB200 is rated at 80A continuous per channel with 200A peak capacity and weighs 71g. It is designed for winches, large trolling motors, and inverters from 2000W to 3000W.

Key Features
Both models feature automatic source selection that prioritises the higher input voltage, zero‑delay solid‑state switching with no mechanical relays, and source isolation that prevents back‑feeding or short circuits between inputs. They support 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V systems and are compatible with LiFePO₄, AGM, lead‑acid, and gel batteries. Passive cooling is provided via an aluminium heatsink plate.

Important Notes
This module is for discharging batteries to power loads only – it is not a battery combiner for charging. Sustained high‑current operation generates heat; ensure adequate cooling and derate accordingly. Peak current is for short bursts only and returns to continuous rating after peak demand. For inverter loads, account for inverter efficiency – for example, if the inverter is 50% efficient, the actual input current is double the load‑side current. For inductive loads such as motors, pumps, or other inductive equipment, account for back‑EMF; the total voltage including input and voltage spike must remain within the module's rating.

Wiring Sequence
Connect the negative terminal first, then connect the two input positive terminals separately. Disconnect the load before wiring and reconnect after all connections are complete.

Typical Applications
The AB100 and AB200 are suitable for RV and marine dual‑battery systems, off‑grid solar and backup power, critical equipment requiring uninterrupted DC supply, and AGV vehicles, electric scooters, go‑karts, and drones that require short‑burst high current.
